Roka Akor In SF Launches Takeout: Just In Time For Mother's Day
To-go and delivery service begins May 9 from the Montgomery Street locale in San Francisco. (Does your Mom love sushi, steak & seafood?)

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Roka Akor, a sushi, steak and seafood restaurant in San Francisco, is re-opening Saturday, May 9, offering curbside pickup and delivery — and the timing is perfect for those pondering what to serve on Mother's Day.
The eatery, which opened on Montgomery Street in 2013, closed its doors weeks ago, as did restaurants throughout California in keeping with COVID-19 mandates. Re-opening for takeout means 12 employees will be returning to their jobs, a spokesperson said.
Roka Akor has a special gift-card offer planned for May 9 and 10. Saturday and Sunday hours will be 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a $25 gift card included with every $50 minimum order.

Beginning May 12, the restaurant will resume regular operating hours from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. for takeout services Mondays through Saturdays.

- Charred Heirloom Tomato Salad with Black Garlic Dressing
- Crunchy Spicy Tuna Roll
- Wagyu Sirloin (6 ounces) with Grilled Bone Marrow and Spicy Sweet Garlic Soy
- Sweet Corn with Butter and Soy
- Steamed Japanese Rice with Sesame
ROKA AKOR A5 JAPANESE WAGYU MEAL ($98 per person)
- Yellowtail Sashimi with Green Chili, Shallots and Poached Garlic Ponzu
- Dungeness Crab California Roll
- Japanese Grade A5+ Wagyu Beef from Miyazaki Prefecture (4 ounces)
- Sweet Corn with Butter and Soy
- Steamed Japanese Rice with Sesame
