San Francisco Bank Robbed Thursday

Police said the suspect remains at large.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A bank was robbed near Union Square in San Francisco Thursday morning and the suspect is at large, police said today. The suspect, described as a man in his early to mid-30s, gave a bank employee a note demanding money around 11 a.m., according to police.

The man fled from the bank, which is in the 400 block of Sutter Street, police said. The suspect fled on foot and there is no mention or description of a getaway vehicle, according to Officer Robert Rueca. No one was injured and no weapon was seen or reported, Rueca said.
