Second Zika Virus Case Confirmed in San Francisco
Officials report that the patient is a pregnant woman who recently traveled to San Francisco from Central America.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA- Health officials announced Friday that a second case of the Zika virus has been confirmed in San Francisco, following Latin American and Caribbean countries, according to the SF Examiner.
The SF Examiner reports that the patient was discovered Thursday, and is a pregnant woman who recently traveled to San Francisco from Central America.
Health officials remind residents that there is no threat of the virus spreading in San Francisco.
