SF Crews Work Underground Fire At 12th And Market Streets

Smoke was reportedly billowing from the entrance to an underground shaft shortly after 10 a.m.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — The public is being advised to avoid the area of 12th and Market streets as crews extinguish a fire in an underground shaft, the San Francisco Fire Department said.

Smoke was reportedly billowing from the entrance to the hole shortly after 10 a.m.

There are no injuries reported.
