SF Police Need Help Locating Suspect Car in Fatal Hit and Run

San Francisco Police have released this photo and are asking for any information.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA- The San Francisco Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a van that was involved in a fatal hit & run collision.

On Friday, March 11, 2016 at approximately 5:50 AM, San Francisco Police responded to a person lying in the roadway at the intersection of Powell and Broadway Streets.

Witnesses told officers they saw a van driving southbound on Powell Street and made a right turn onto westbound Broadway, hitting a 63 year old male. The van fled and the male died at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the collision are still under investigation.

The van is described as a white van with no windows, possible 1997-2002 Ford Econoline. Attached are two still photos of the van captured on video surveillance cameras.
