SF Remembers Victims Of Traffic Accidents Sunday
San Francisco's event is part of a global one that honors people hurt and killed in traffic crashes.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A memorial will be held Sunday afternoon for victims of traffic crashes in San Francisco, leaders with WalkSF, a safe streets advocate said. The city's sixth annual World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims will start at 3 p.m. at City Hall.
San Francisco's event is part of a global one that honors people hurt and killed in traffic crashes.
Since 2014, 188 people have died in traffic crashes on San Francisco streets.
More than 3,000 have been severely injured since that date.
