Teen Actors Use Their Passion for the Camera for Change

Kabir McNeely, a young American actor and filmmaker, announced public virtual premiere for his LGBTQ+ short film "Blue Girl".

(PRESS RELEASE - San Francisco, CA, December 22) Kabir McNeely recently announced the virtual premiere of his short film Blue Girl which he wrote, directed, and stars in. Joining him is a cast of 17 international remote artists lead by Bella Murphy and Adele Rudnick.

"Blue Girl" explores the struggles of LGBTQ+ youth through the lenses of queer high school students. The film demonstrates the critical impact that peer bullying has on LGBTQ+ youth.

As of December 20th, 2020, Blue Girl is an Official Selection at the Independent Shorts Awards film festival.

The premiere is set to take place virtually on December 28th, 202o at 5:00pm.
