Voting In San Francico: Everything You Need To Know
San Francisco propositions guide. The polls will close at 8 p.m. Drop completed ballots at the Vote Center.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA —While the majority of San Francisco voters have already cast their mail-in ballots and returned them, some will venture out to the vote center on Tuesday to either mark their ballots or hand them in for counting.
Here in San Francisco, voters are selecting 6 members of the Board of Supervisors, four school board members, and four members of the Community College Board.

In the 17th State Assembly District, the incumbent David Chiu faces Libertarian write-in candidate Starchild.

San Francisco has 511,115 registered voters, according to statistics from Secretary of State Alex Padilla's office. Statewide, there are 21.2 million registered voters, an increase of 800,000 since the primary in March.

Still need to cast your vote? The Vote Center is set up in the area outside of Bill Graham Civic Auditorium at 99 Grove Street, between Polk and Larkin streets. You may drop off vote-by-mail ballots, register to vote, use accessible voting equipment, receive personal assistance from elections workers, obtain replacement ballots, or cast your ballot in person. It is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Election Day.
