California eateries are rolling out scary good treats - minus the tricks - with freebies, BOGOs & special menus for the spooky season.
CALIFORNIA — Halloween may be a bit different this year. But rest assured in California: Restaurants still are offering fang-tastic, kids-eat-free and buy-one-get-one deals, and such annual treats as decked-out doughnuts, mummy pancakes and pumpkin-shaped pizzas.

APPLEBEE'S: A free order of Boneless Wings can be yours with purchase of $30 or more on Oct. 31, via to-go or delivery. The wings are served with ranch dressing and celery, and tossed in your choice of sauce: Classic Hot Buffalo; Sweet Asian Chili; or Honey BBQ. CHILI'S: Boo-tastic news: The $5 The Spider Bite ‘Rita is back in October. The Spider Bite 'Rita melds a premium mix of Lunazul Tequila, Cointreau, Blackberry and fresh sour. "This ‘Rita’s so good, it’s got us shakin’ in our shakers."
CHIPOTLE MEXICAN GRILL: "Boorito" returns as a virtual trick-or-treat. From Oct. 29 to Oct. 31, 500,000 BOGOs will be dropped via TikTok, Twitter and Instagram. To claim, fans will have to act fast and text the valid keyword to 888-222 before Chipotle’s virtual House of BOGOs runs dry. The BOGOs will be redeemable via the Chipotle app or Chipotle.com on Halloween, Oct. 31. See deal details here.
CHUCK E. CHEESE: The chain is offering its annual "Boo-tacular" deals with free treat bags to kids in costume, plus an KIDZ BOP + Chuck E. Cheese At-Home Halloween Party, featuring two, large pizzas, Oreo® Boo-tacular brownies and two treat bags with $5 of free games for your next visit.
