2 San Bruno Students Receive $5,000 Scholarships

Caden Kalagayan and Isiah Sneedten are among ten young athletes from the Bay Area, and beyond, who received the scholarships.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — San Bruno students Caden Kalagayan and Isiah Sneedten each received $5,000 scholarships from the Giants Community Fund earlier this month. They're among ten young athletes to receive the awards.

All of the students were honored in a ceremony at home plate at Oracle Park on Aug. 10.

The students were chosen based on their leadership skills, character, academic potential and Junior Giants involvement.

This year’s scholars are:

  • Daniel Rodriguez, Antioch
  • Caydence Rodriguez, Lodi
  • Micheline Ma, Milpitas
  • Michael Medina, Milpitas
  • Isabel Rodriguez, Morgan Hill
  • Elijah Ramirez, Newark
  • Garrett Juretic, San Luis Obispo
  • Caden Kalagayan, San Bruno
  • Isiah Sneed, San Bruno
  • Iris Cruz, Stockton

Since its inception in 1991, the Giants Community Fund has donated more than $30 million to community programs.
