300+ Housing On Noor under the LOUD Airplanes
Should the FAA allow this? Who should be responsible for liabilities?

Article Source: Alana Gomez - SSF Resident
The City of So.San Francisco is planning to build 342 Housing units if they can get approval from the FAA to build over Noor & Huntington St. SSF.
This area is designated poor for housing as it is in a noise plume where the decibel level cannot be above the 6.5d allowable noise level set by the Congress. The planned site is on the border of San Bruno where the plane noise levels registers above that level.

If the builder is allowed to proceed, with approval of the Airport Land Use Commission , the City of SSF will be
responsible for any future liability. However, at a Housing study session, earlier this year, the City of SSF stated it will not accept responsibility and will require a disclaimer from all liability in the event the builder decides to proceed.

Citizens of SSF are closely watching the number and places the City of SSF is building homes because of the environmental impact on traffic for our neighboring communities. There are groups that have formed in protest. You are welcome to join us. The website EverythingSo.City has many updates on the City's construction. They plan at least 2K more housing units. There has been over 2K units in various development stages already built. We are not happy about it.. SSFResidents4Smartgrowth.com is another website.
