Accused DUI Driver Damages Cars In San Bruno, Police Say

A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after driving into several parked cars in San Bruno, police said.

Officers were called shortly before 8 p.m. to the 500 block of Fourth Avenue, where they found damaged cars and the driver, 30-year-old San Bruno resident Julio Cesar Bernal Garcia.

SAN BRUNO, CA — A man who allegedly drove into several parked cars Saturday evening was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and other charges, San Bruno police said.

Officers were called shortly before 8 p.m. to the 500 block of Fourth Avenue, where they found damaged cars and the driver, 30-year-old San Bruno resident Julio Cesar Bernal Garcia.

Before he was sent to the hospital, Garcia was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, operating a vehicle under the influence while on DUI probation, not having an ignition interlock device, and driving on a suspended license.

Garcia's injuries were not considered to be life threatening.
