City facilities, except for fire, police and the rec center, will be closed today for furlough.
Employees are off without pay as a result of budget reductions. The Veterans Memorial Building will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The rec center and library will resume regular hours on Saturday.
Full city operations will resume on Monday.
