Rotary District 5150 held its annual conference on April 20 through 22 at the Silverado Resort in Napa.
The San Bruno Rotary Club made a clean sweep of the awards, garnering the following: Community Service Award, New Generations Awards, Rotary Foundation Award, World Community Service Award, Vocational Service Award, Club Service Award, culminating in the Best Club Award.
Much of the credit goes to this year’s President, Wayne Parker. Wayne stepped to the plate and volunteered to serve a President once again when there was a need for new leadership in the organization. Wayne had served as President in 1990-91 and is currently serving as the 2011-12 President.

Under his leadership the Club members really came together to support him and the Club is very proud to have their hard work acknowledged by receiving these awards at the District Conference.
Wayne is the President and CEO of San Bruno Auto Center in San Bruno and he and his wife Tami are very active in the community.
