Dear San Bruno Residents, Parents and Educators,
Since October of 2017, I have had the sincere pleasure of serving as a board member with my colleagues on the San Bruno Park School District Board of Trustees.
I have learned a great deal over this past year. I want to personally thank the countless number of brave souls who have called and reached out to me as parents, teachers, and community members to voice their opinions and desires to better the future of our schools. I have taken this input to heart and it has been instrumental in informing me on key issues. It has also truly made me a better leader in my role as a new trustee.

In my mind, the three pillars, which I spoke about at my recent kick-off event, are: 1) Student Achievement, 2) Teachers and Staff, and 3) Community. It is wise to consider the effects of our collective board's decisions on all three groups. All three pillars require an atmosphere where achievement can occur, which is also why I am in support of Measure X. Measure X will allow us to rebuild and improve our schools and move our district into the future. Imagine the possibilities!
If I am elected in the November 2018 election, I will continue to collaborate to ensure the vision for San Bruno schools is achieved. I am excited to continue advocating for our San Bruno children with a focus on the following areas:
· Expansion of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Programs
· Bi-lingual educational programs
· Fiscal responsibility and transparency to the public.
· Supporting Teachers and Staff
· Working with fellow Trustees to build a positive yet effective governance team.
