The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office along with the Redwood City Police Department, Belmont Police Department and Citizens for a San Mateo County Gun Buyback are hosting an Anonymous Gun Buyback Event on Saturday Dec. 15, 2018, at 1402 Maple St. in Redwood City from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Anyone with any unwanted or unused firearms can exchange them anonymously for cash
