'Armed and Dangerous' Person of Interest Sought in Deadly Shooting
Meanwhile, the victim in the case has been identified by the San Mateo County coroner's office.
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA- Police are asking for the public's help in locating a 19-year-old South San Francisco man who's been identified as a "person of interest" in a double shooting at a local park that left one person dead.
Christian Omar Cruz is sought by the South San Francisco Police Department in connection to a Monday shooting at Orange Memorial Park, according to police reports.
Reports indicate that things started to unfold around 2:45 p.m., when a group of people got into a fight in the 600 block of First Lane.

"Prior to police arrival, additional information was obtained and it was reported the subjects involved in the altercation left First Lane and walked to Orange Memorial Park, just a few blocks away," a police report states. "While the subjects were at Orange Memorial Park, the altercation escalated and one of the subjects involved produced a handgun and shot the other two subjects. Each of the adult victims sustained a single gunshot wound to their abdomens."
Both of those shot were taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where one of them died. He has since been identified by the San Mateo County coroner's office as Nicholas Gomez of South San Francisco.

The other victim is in stable condition, police said.
Cruz may have been with the two men who were shot, and police want to question him. He's considered armed and dangerous and anyone who may know where he is located was asked to call 911 immediately.
Police say they don't know the motive for the shooting.
