BARBECUE FOR CRESTMOOR FIRE VICTIMS

Where/When: City Park, park area No. 6, Saturday, 11am-5pm

Why Go: The Beta Theta Omicron chapter (Skyline College) of honor society Phi Theta Kappa will be holding a barbecue with games in the park while giving out supplies to the residents affected by the Sept. 9 gas pipeline explosion. Another reason why San Bruno is known as the City with a Heart.

SKYLINE COLLEGE BASEBALL VS. SIERRA COLLEGE

Where/When: Skyline College Baseball Field, Saturday, 1pm.

Why Go: Coming off of a fourth straight season of qualifying for the state playoffs, the Skyline baseball team starts off this week with pre-conference play before its March season kicks off.

Pricing: Free. Parking free in Lot 4 on game day.

Where/When: San Mateo Masonic Lodge, 100 N Ellsworth Ave, San Mateo, Saturday, 6:45pm.

Why Go: You can come dressed as your favorite superhero at the social event of the season.

Why Go: This interactive environmental museum offers free admission the first Sunday of the month.
