**An algal bloom has been reported at the creek mouth of Pilarcitos Creek, where it crosses the beach (between Venice and Francis Beach). Although this algal bloom has not been tested for cyanobacteria or cyanotoxins, caution signs have been posted at creek access points to limit water contact.
