CSM Finishes Perfect Month Outscoring Foes 149-6
AMANDA UBOIS HITS B2B HRS AGAIN; TOTALS 8 MARCH HOMERS

Amanda Ubois-Weitenhagen finished an awesome month of home run hitting for College of San Mateo with a pair of back-to-back smacks (for five RBIs) in a 9-0 win at West Valley College on Thursday. Earlier in the month she hit “unprecedented” back-to-back grand slams.

Emily McAdams got a state-leading 18th pitching victory, allowing just one hit, striking out nine, and walking one batter over five innings. Brittany Prock hurled a “perfect” final frame to end it after six innings with a “mercy” margin. (Her RBI double in the top of the sixth had made it 8-0.)
McAdams ranks No. 5 in the state with 123 strikeouts.

Kaitlyn Grech also had an RBI, bringing her season total to 38 (No. 4 in the state). Ubois, is just a tad back with 35 and is hitting .493 while slugging .930.

San Mateo (28-2, 8-0 Coast North) leads the state with 27 home runs. Trailing Ubois are Grech (5), Aubrie Businger (4), plus Riley Donovan and Sterling (each with 3).

CSM has outscored all opponents during an unbeaten month, 149-6.

The Bulldogs next play April 2, hosting Cabrillo at 3 p.m.

West Valley fell to 11-12, 2-7 in Coast (South) play.
