Consider Public Transit If Heading To Weekend Harvest Festival
Ditch the driving stress, and take SamTrans and Caltrain to attend the annual event, chock-full of family and holiday fun.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — Those on the Peninsula heading to this weekend's 2019 Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show at the San Mateo County Event Center are encouraged to ditch the traffic stress, avoid the drive and ride SamTrans and Caltrain to get there and back.
The festival is Nov. 15-17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Sunday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
The fairgrounds are served by SamTrans Routes ECR, ECR Rapid and 292, with stops located nearby. The event center is accessible by Caltrain from both the Hillsdale and Hayward Park Stations. Customers arriving at the Hillsdale Station can walk a short distance along Delaware Street to the fairgrounds main entrance. Riders using the Hayward Park Station can take Concar Drive to Delaware Street.

The Harvest Festival is a community staple in its 47th year, and will feature hundreds of artisans, specializing in clothing, jewelry, specialty foods, toys, holiday decor and more. Plus attendees can enjoy music, entertainment, festival foods and a KidZone where youngsters can decorate gingerbread cookies, the agency said.
