AGENDA - SAN BRUNO CITY COUNCIL - April 9, 2019 - 7:00 p.m.

Meeting Location: San Bruno Senior Center, 1555 Crystal Springs Road, San Bruno, CA

City Council meetings are conducted in accordance with Roberts Rules of Order Newly Revised and City Council Rules of Procedure. All regular Council meetings are recorded and televised on CATV Channel 1 and replayed the following Thursday, at 2:00 pm. Recordings of the City Council meetings are available for listening at the City Clerk's Office and video of the City Council meetings may be viewed at www.sanbruno.ca.gov. Audio CDs with recordings of City Council meetings may be purchased at the City Clerk’s office, or may be listened to at the San Bruno Library. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals requiring reasonable accommodations or appropriate alternative formats for notices, agendas and records for this meeting should notify us 48 hours prior to meeting. 3. PUBLIC COMMENT ON ITEMS NOT ON AGENDA:

Individuals allowed three minutes, groups in attendance, five minutes. It is the Council's policy to refer matters raised in this forum to staff for investigation and/or action where appropriate. The Brown Act prohibits the Council from discussing or acting upon any matter not agendized pursuant to State Law.

4. ANNOUNCEMENTS/PRESENTATIONS:

• Swearing in of Newly Appointed Members of the Citizens Crime Prevention and Traffic Safety & Parking Committees.
• Present Proclamation Recognizing April 14-20, 2019 as National Public Safety Telecommunicator’s Week.
• Present Proclamation Recognizing April 14–20, 2019 as Mosquito Awareness Week.
• Receive the Annual Report from the Personnel Board.
• Recology San Bruno will host a free Compost Give Away, to celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 27th, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Beckner Shelter in San Bruno Park. Bring your own bucket.
• Operation Clean Sweep Coordinated by the Beautification Task Force will be held on Saturday May 4th beginning at 9:00 a.m. at City Park. To register, please visit the City’s website at www.sanbruno.ca.gov

g. Receive Project Update on Phase II (Schematic Design) of the New Recreation and Aquatics Center Project.

5. CONSENT CALENDAR:

All items are considered routine or implement an earlier Council action and may be enacted by one motion; there will be no separate discussion, unless requested.

• Accept Accounts Payable of March 25 and April 1, 2019.
• Accept Payroll for March 22, 2019.

• Accept Reconciliation of General Ledger to Bank Reports and Investment Reports Dated February 28, 2019.
• Accept Draft Meeting Minutes for the Special and Regular Meetings of March 26, 2019.
• Adopt Resolution Approving the Fiscal Year 2019-20 City Council Priority Focus Areas and Related Strategic Initiatives.
• Resolution Adopting a List of Projects for Fiscal Year 2019-20 Funded by SB1: The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017.
• Adopt Resolution Accepting the San Mateo Avenue Water and Sewer Replacement Project as Complete, Authorizing the Filing of Notice of Completion with the San Mateo County Recorder’s Office, and Authorizing Release of the Construction Contract Retention in the Amount of $240,654.
• Adopt Resolution Accepting the Spyglass Pump Station and Force Main Rehabilitation Project as Complete, Authorizing the Filing of Notice of Completion with the San Mateo County Recorder’s Office, and Authorizing Release of the Construction Contract Retention in the Amount of $127,852.

• CONDUCT OF BUSINESS:

a. Appeal of Community and Economic Development Director’s Determination Related

to Parking for the 406-418 San Mateo Avenue Development Project.
