The City of San Bruno will officially welcome back to the Crestmoor neighborhood those residents who have completed rebuilding their homes after the pipeline explosion of September 2010 in a brief ceremony on Monday, May 14th at 6:30pm. The ceremony will take place on Claremont Drive, between Glenview and Fairmont. A few street trees, as a symbol of neighborhood rebuilding, will also be planted after the ceremony.
During the ceremony, the Mayor and City Council will also acknowledge those who have completely rebuilt or completed major repairs to their homes. If you have not already been contacted by City staff and would like to have your home mentioned in this ceremony, please let us know. Following the ceremony, City staff will be available to answer questions about the infrastructure reconstruction.
Please join us as we mark this significant milestone in the rebuilding process. Similar celebrations will be held periodically in the future to acknowledge other residents who have been able to rebuild their properties and move back to the neighborhood.
