Finally - Cleanup Work On Crestmoor Canyon
For a very long time numerous residents have observed what they feel were conditions in Crestmoor Canyon that needed clean-up.

I do have some good news about the canyon.
We recently received a grant to do some fire mitigation in the canyon.

The first goal will be to remove growth around the fire roads so apparatus has access in case of a fire.
We will then work on defensible space between the canyon and the neighborhood.

We are evaluating all of the options including goats, specialized equipment, etc.
We hope to start this project in the next few weeks but we are learning that crews statewide are very busy.
