As an FYI, the agenda packet for the next Parks and Recreation Commission meeting on Wednesday, September 19 has been posted to the City’s website. See the following link. The agenda packet includes a staff report that discusses development of the park, including the current condition and impact that the park’s development will have on two heritage trees on the site. This issue has engendered significant interest among members of our community and I encourage you to read the City’s staff report so that you have first-hand information on the potential removal of the two heritage trees and development of the park.
