DATE OCCURRED: December 10, 2018

TIME OCCURRED: 5:35 a.m.

On Monday, December 10, 2018, at 5:42 a.m., San Bruno Police Officers responded to the 200 block of E. San Bruno Avenue, San Bruno, regarding the report of a commercial burglary in progress.

The investigation revealed that at 5:35 a.m., at least three suspects forced entry into a closed business in an attempt to steal an ATM machine. The suspects used a tow strap attached to a white Chevy Silverado U-Haul rental pickup truck in an attempt to forcefully drag the ATM machine out of the business. After several attempts, the thieves were unsuccessful at removing the ATM machine. The suspects fled the area and have not yet been located. The suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks during the commission of this crime.
