Good News for Asian Box Fans! New Store Opens Next Week on Peninsula
The popular eatery, serving "farm-to-box street food," will be at the corner of Burlingame Avenue and Primrose Road in Burlingame.

BURLINGAME, CA – Asian Box is opening its latest restaurant in Burlingame with a grand opening on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at the corner of Burlingame Avenue and Primrose Road.
Palo Alto-based Asian Box joins Pizzeria Delfina on the block and debuts a design that includes outdoor seating and will be open for lunch and dinner.
New menu offerings from Culinary Director Chad Newton of Fish & Farm, Postrio, and Executive Chef Grace Nguyen of The Slanted Door are planned with new boxes alongside existing fan favorites like the Workout Box and the Ox Box.

The new boxes by Newton and Nguyen include a New Chef’s Signature box with Caramel Catfish with Passmore Ranch California Catfish, ginger, scallions, jasmine rice, steamed vegetables, and caramel sauce (for $12.95) and the Surf Vietnam Box, a tongue-in-cheek surf and turf, with three large shrimp and garlic-soy beef, jasmine rice, crispy shallots, sprouts, pickled veggies, herbs, lime, peanuts, and lime-black pepper dipping sauce (also for $12.95).
Asian Box prides itself on leading the food industry with sustainable business practices, using 100 percent compostable consumer packaging and working with local farms to provide organic ingredients.

The new store will open at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with daily hours from 11 a,m, to 9 p.m. at 1401 Burlingame Ave. in Burlingame.
