  • Officer Campbell- Discuss volunteer opportunity for June 21, 22 and 23, 2019.
    1. Neighborhood Watch –

ACTION: Discuss opportunities to update Neighborhood watch materials / brochures by adding photos of home / auto burglary to encourage and increase NW program enrollment.

ACTION: Update on Brochure Distribution – City Hall, Library, Senior Center, Recreation Center, and School District Office.

ACTION: Discuss handbooks from National Neighborhood Watch Institute, and if they should be incorporated with our program.

ACTION: Provide debrief and discussion of event.

    1. Posy Parade / Community Day in the Park

ACTION: Provide debrief and discussion of event.

    1. National Night Out (08-06-19)

ACTION: Discuss organization of event, kickoff portion, and assign someone to make flyers to be reviewed by the committee in the July meeting.

    1. CCPC Presentation (07-09-19)

ACTION: Conduct final presentation review, solicit feedback and photos of National Night Out.

    1. Crime Tips / Social Media– ACTION: (Bilingual) Review Proposed English and Spanish Crime Tips.

Discuss and vote to approve the English and Spanish crime tips for posting.

ACTION: Social Media update from SB police. Discuss last video on car break-ins and how to move forward in the future.

ACTION: Peter Carey will discuss idea regarding yard/house fences to show people how to secure your yards.
