Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?:

My mom and her neighbor have been tirelessly working to make and donate hand-made cloth masks with N95 filters for the San Mateo County jail staff where I work to make sure we are all safe while doing our jobs.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:

My mom and her neighbor have been sharing the cost of materials, elastic and working nonstop since the shelter in place began to make these well-made top-quality cloth masks not only for myself and my coworkers but also for our family. My mom has been shipping them around the country to our relatives to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy. They are true heroes to me and the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Department
