Event Announcement for May 18, 2019
The San Mateo County History Museum will present Wedding Fashions through Time, a historical fashion show. The Museum’s volunteer Auxiliary will explore changing fashions for wedding guests, attendants and, of course, brides. The show will take place May 18, 2019, at 1 p.m. at the History Museum, 2200 Broadway in downtown Redwood City. Tickets are free with the cost of admission to the Museum ($6.00 for adults, $4.00 for seniors and students). Go towww.historysmc.org for more information.
The fashion show is part of the Museum’s “Courthouse Docket” program sponsored by Cypress Lawn Heritage Foundation. The Museum features exhibits related to the use of natural resources, suburban development, ethnic experience and entrepreneurial achievement on the Peninsula from the time of the Ohlone Indian through today. The Museum is open every day except Monday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
