Not "Where's The Beef?" BUT "Where's The Money?"

Tuesday November 27th 2018, the San Bruno CA City Council held a noticed and open Study Session to begin the review process and to eventually propose funding for MANY needed San Bruno needs. While San Bruno Citizens continue to complain that the City Council is unresponsive to their continual requests that "The City Fix this and that", only 2 additional residents attended the study session. (The session was televised - HOW many watched?)

ABOVE: Current year's budget was balanced by borrowing $1,661.427 instead of cutting services.

ABOVE: Stormwater System needs have NO dedicated funding source. WHERE/HOW does the City raise the needed funds?

ABOVE: Millions of dollars are projected to be needed to repair all of the needed roads. WHERE/HOW does the City raise the needed funds?

ABOVE: Your City has been planning by continuing to fund various RESERVE Funds.

ABOVE: "No Need For Alarm. There is TIME to develop strategies AND IMPLEMENT SOLUTIONS

WHAT Solutions do YOU suggest the City use to raise the needed FUNDS???

ABOVE: The City proposes CITIZEN SURVEYS. Will YOU participate?

To understand the "Money Needs" of the City going forward one needs to understand the FULL picture.

The Council directed staff to take the next step and bring back proposals for discussion on HOW the City can generate additional funds, WHEN these funds will be sought and HOW these funds will be sought.
