On Wednesday, November 8th, 2018 at 4:00 a.m., San Bruno Police Officers located an occupied stolen vehicle traveling N/B Highway 101 prior near Millbrae Avenue. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle, which stopped at the San Francisco International Airport.

The ensuing investigation revealed that two suspects were in possession of the vehicle that had been stolen on October 31st in San Francisco. A search of the vehicle and the suspects revealed burglary tools, suspected narcotics, and suspected stolen property. These tools, along with other items, in the vehicle lead officers to believe these suspects may be responsible for additional thefts. Investigators continue to follow up on potential criminal activity in additional jurisdictions.

The suspect listed below was arrested and booked into San Mateo County Jail for charges related to possession of a stolen vehicle:

 Carlos Cardenas Gonzalez, 25-year-old East Palo Alto resident

 Catherine Flores, a 22-year-old Daly City resident, signed and was issued a promise to appear for charges related to the possession of narcotics.
