SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — The discovery of two bodies Tuesday afternoon in South San Francisco is being investigated as a homicide-suicide, police said.

The bodies of an adult male and an adult female were found at an apartment in the 1000 block of Grand Avenue at around 3 p.m. according to police.

Police responded to the location after family members reportedly received a text message from a relative indicating a homicide may have occurred at the location, police said.

The male was a tenant of the apartment and the female an acquaintance of his according to police.
