Streetlight Outage
The City of San Bruno is aware of a streetlight outage in two areas of the Crestmoor neighborhood affecting approximately 54 streetlights, which was first discovered on the evening of Thursday, October 11, 2018.
Immediately following the outage, City staff investigated the issue and determined that the outage was caused by equipment owned and operated by PG&E.

The City then contacted PG&E to troubleshoot the precise issue and expedite repair.
It is our understanding that PG&E pulled its staff working on the Crestmoor streetlight outage to reallocate resources to the North Bay to address the forced outage that occurred in Lake County area over the weekend.
The City has received a commitment from PG&E that they will reassign a dedicated crew to resolve the Crestmoor streetlight outage, which could take several days to repair.
No specific timing for full restoration was provided by PG&E.
City staff will continue to work with PG&E and are looking into temporary lighting solutions should this become a prolonged outage.
San Bruno Police Department is aware of the outage and has increased patrols in the area during the evening hours as a precautionary measure.
City staff are working hard to get the streetlights in working order and apologize for any inconvenience.
If you have any questions, please contact PG&E at (800) 743-5000.
