Police Investigate Peninsula Armed Robbery

The man took off running after robbing a store clerk at gunpoint, police said.

SAN BRUNO, CA — A man robbed a business at gunpoint in San Bruno early Thursday morning, according to police.

San Bruno police officers responded to a report of armed robbery in the 2000 block of Rollingwood Drive at 1:52 a.m. Police said their investigation revealed a man had entered the business and pointed his gun at the clerk and customers, then ordered the clerk to empty the cash register.

The suspect, who police described as a 6 feet tall man between the ages of 20 and 30 with a medium build, fled the scene on foot.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and a black ski mask, according to police.
