Police Log: Drunk Driver Nearly Crashes Into Tree, Urinates in Street

Thursday
8:07 a.m. Police received a report that sometime between Aug. 18 and Sept. 12, a hydro concrete breaker was taken on the 1500 block of Magnolia Avenue.
Sometime before 11:59 p.m., a drunk driver was spotted near Jenevein Avenue and Linden Avenue.

Friday
3:51 p.m. Graffiti was spotted on a fire hydrant on the 1300 block of Park Avenue. The caller said a message was left on the graffiti hotline last week about the vandalism, but no response had been given yet. The caller just wanted the graffiti cleaned up.

5:29 p.m. A light gray BMW sedan ran through a fence on the 100 block of Cupid Row and then left.
6:04 p.m. Two people attempted to break into a house on the 600 block of Cypress Avenue. The burglars knocked on the front door, but no one answered, then they jumped a fence.
8:37 p.m. Someone stole two iPhones from a business on the 1200 block of El Camino Real. The thief was described as a white man in his 20s who was wearing a black hoodie with a multi-colored hat and black pants.
Saturday
2:04 p.m. Police received a report that a residential burglary occurred sometime between the afternoon of Sept. 14 and Sept. 15. The homeowner went down to the basement and found the rear door open.
2:31 p.m. A drunk driver in a black Chevy sedan was spotted near Skyline Boulevard and Sneath Lane.
8:55 p.m. Two cars were in an accident near Interstate 280 and San Bruno Avenue West, and an injury was involved.
Sunday
1:43 a.m. A drunk driver in a white Toyota Camry almost crashed into a tree, then got out and urinated in the street on the 300 block of Acacia Avenue.
3:11 p.m. Police received a report that a series of burglaries might have occurred on the 3300 block of College Drive. Security noticed pry marks on doors to four different offices.
9:07 p.m. A drunk driver in a silver Ford Explorer was spotted leaving a restaurant on the 1100 block of El Camino Real.
