Police Log: Resident Asks Man to Turn Down Music; Man Pulls Out Knife

Thursday, Oct. 4
12:20 a.m. Police reported that a mall employee's tires were slashed on the 1100 block of El Camino Real.

12:32 a.m. Three offices were broken into at Skyline College. Police didn't immediately know how much property was stolen.
6:05 p.m. Police received a report that a gold Chevy Tahoe was broken into on the 2500 block of Sherwood Drive sometime between Sept. 28 and Oct. 1.

Saturday, Oct. 6
4:06 p.m. A resident told a male to turn down his music on the 500 block of Mastick Avenue, and the male brandished a pocket knife on him.
Sunday, Oct. 7
12:03 p.m. A vehicle caught on fire near the corner of Crestmoor Drive and San Bruno Avenue.
5:07 p.m. A male stole a Motorola Razr and Panasonic camera from a store on the 1600 block of El Camino Real.
6:44 p.m. A black and red Yamaha R1 was reported stolen from an underground parking lot on the 1000 block of National Avenue.
10:32 p.m. Police received a missing child report after a parent said a teenager left home 24 hours before and never returned.
11:30 p.m. A resident reported that when returning home on the 900 block of Sneath Lane a door had been kicked in and a burglar was apparently still inside.
