Police Seek Purse Snatching Suspect

While the victim was loading groceries into her vehicle, the suspect approached from behind and grabbed her purse from her left shoulder.

South San Francisco police are investigating a purse snatching that occurred in the parking lot of a business Monday afternoon.

The robbery occurred at about 1:20 p.m. in the parking lot in the 400 block of South Airport Boulevard.

While the victim was loading groceries into her vehicle, the suspect approached from behind and grabbed her purse from her left shoulder.

The suspect fled on foot with the victim’s purse before she was able to see who had robbed her, police said. The victim did not suffer any injuries in the robbery. Despite a search of the area, the suspect remains at large.
