California's New Ignition Interlock Law
Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) would like to share exciting news with you. Many of you helped pass an improved ignition interlock law in California back in 2016. Your visits, phone calls and emails to legislators made all the difference. Thanks to your support, the new law finally took effect January 1st. Now all repeat offenders and certain first-time offenders must use an ignition interlock after a drunk driving arrest in California.
