Wednesday October 3 2018 there was a meet and greet followed by questioning 3 of the 4 candidates running for the San Bruno Park School Board of Trustees.
1) As a member of the San Bruno community who is only now involved in the school system, exactly what is the responsibility of the Board and how will you involve the community in your personal decision making?

2) Can you please state why you are for or against Measure X?
3) If it does not pass what is your plan to adequately fund the district with limited funds?

4) Class size matters: Teachers and students perform better when the student - teacher ratio is kept at about 1/18 students per teacher in K-3. Minority and low income students benefit the most. What do you think should be done to reach an ideal low student - teacher ratio?
5) Transparency: Are you in favor of live streaming board meetings on Facebook, Youtube, Etc.?
6) What is your vision for expanding the curriculum to meet the needs of the " whole child " ( academic, social & lifestyle skills ) ?
7) In your opinion, what went wrong with special education, and what are your thoughts to fix it?
8) If measure X passes what will be next?
9) What about the Districts direction would you change?
