On Friday, December 14, 2018, at 6:51 p.m., San Bruno Police Officers responded to the 100 block of De Soto Way regarding the report of a residential burglary in progress. As officers arrived on scene, they located two subjects in the backyard of the residence with stolen property from the residence. Both attempted to flee on foot. Officers apprehended one subject, while the other jumped over a fence and fled the area. Several local law enforcement agencies assisted with an extensive search of the area for the second subject who was not located.

Thirty-nine year old Hayward resident Ahmad Faqirzada was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Main Jail for charges related to burglary, conspiracy, and attempting to flee from officers.
