SamTrans Expands ECR Rapid Route Coverage

In an effort to continuously improve service for the communities we serve, SamTrans is updating service schedules on several bus routes.

The most significant change taking effect on Sunday, January 20, is the addition of the following eight stops on the ECR Rapid:

El Camino Real & Hickey Boulevard (South San Francisco)
El Camino Real & Arroyo Drive (South San Francisco)
El Camino Real & San Bruno Avenue (San Bruno)
El Camino Real & Park Place (Millbrae)
El Camino Real & Broadway (Burlingame)
El Camino Real & 17th Avenue (San Mateo)
El Camino Real & E 25th Avenue (San Mateo)
El Camino Real & Whipple Avenue (Redwood City)

These stops have been added in an effort to better meet the needs of our riders following the latest customer feedback. In addition to the ECR Rapid’s expanded coverage, SamTrans is making minor schedule adjustments to 10 other routes in order to increase efficiency and provide more reliable service to customers.

Complete details of the scheduling and service changes are available here.

SamTrans adjusts its scheduling and service operations three times a year to take into account changing traffic impacts, travel patterns and bus operator availability. The adjustments help improve on-time performance standards and make the bus system run more smoothly.

We welcome all input on SamTrans service from community members. The public is encouraged to submit feedback on our website here.
