SamTrans Reconfigures Schedules
In order to increase the efficiency and reliability of its service, SamTrans is updating service schedules on several bus routes.
The most significant of the changes, which go into effect Sunday, June 23, is the addition of an additional bus per hour to Route ECR. This change will increase frequency to every 12 to 15 minutes on weekdays and every 20 minutes on weekends.
Complete details of the scheduling and service changes are available here.
SamTrans adjusts its scheduling and service operations three times a year to take into account changing traffic impacts, travel patterns and bus operator availability. The adjustments help improve on-time performance standards and make the bus system run more smoothly.
Members of the public interested in commenting on the changes can submit feedback through the SamTrans website.
