The City of San Bruno Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) enjoyed a very productive meeting last Wednesday evening, accomplishing a great deal of business.

Following the meeting, Chairman David Nigel telephoned Bill Bright, “Bike to Work Day” Event Coordinator and informed Bill that BPAC will staff the Refresher Station at the San Bruno Caltrain Station sponsored by YouTube on the day of the event. . Coordinator Bright was very pleased and informed BPAC that he will supply a table and will bring the refreshments and materials from the YouTube office; sponsor of that Refresher Station.

Special “THANKS” to our very own Committee Member, Cecile Riborozo, for once again coordinating the Walmart Refresher Station as she has so diligently and efficiently done these past several years. Cecile will coordinate that everything is prepared and delivered to the San Bruno BART Refresher station.

The City of San Bruno BPAC encourages all bicycle riders to participate Thursday, May 9th, riding their bicycles to work on this special day. We are proud that our City will be promoting two Refresher Stations during “Bike to Work Day.”

Chairman Nigel thanked all Committee Members who volunteered to staff our Refresher Stations.
