On Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at 2:43 p.m., San Bruno Police Officers responded to the 500 block of Hawthorne Avenue regarding the report of a residential burglary. An observant resident in the area saw two masked males run from the residence to a waiting vehicle, driven by another subject.

The investigation revealed that the suspects gained entry to the residence by breaking a glass door at the rear of the house. Jewelry was taken during the burglary. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.

The San Bruno Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in investigating this crime. Anyone with any information related to this crime is urged to contact the

SUBJECT: Possession of Drugs for Sales

CASE NUMBER: 1803990

DATE OCCURRED: November 29, 2018

TIME OCCURRED: 02:18 a.m.

On November 29, 2018, at 2:18 a.m., San Bruno Police Officers contacted the occupants of a vehicle parked on the 100 block of Oxford Lane. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of suspected methamphetamine, a scale, currency and additional narcotics paraphernalia.

Thirty-two year old South San Francisco resident Joseph Tacorda, was arrested for

charges related to the possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of sales. He was booked into San Mateo County Jail.
