SUBJECT: DUI Related Collision and Arrest

On Saturday, November 26, 2018, at 9:28 p.m., San Bruno Police Officers responded to the 1300 block of Sneath Lane regarding the report of a solo-vehicle collision. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a black Nissan Sentra had left the roadway and collided

into the fence of the Golden Gate National Cemetery, located at 1300 Sneath Lane. The driver of the vehicle that had caused the collision was identified as forty-five year old Daly City resident Dante Delacalzada. Delacalzada sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident and was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment. An investigation revealed the Delacalzada was driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. He was cited and released at the medical facility.

November 27, 2018

SUBJECT: Commercial Burglary / Possession of Stolen Property

CASE NUMBER: 18-03953

DATE OCCURRED: November 26, 2018

TIME OCCURRED: 2:46 A.M.

On Monday, November 26, 2018, at 2:46 A.M., San Bruno Police Officers responded to Sears Department Store located at 1178 El Camino Real regarding an audible alarm. Officers determined that there forced entry had been made into the business. During an extensive search of the business and surrounding areas, officers located twenty-eight year old San Francisco resident, Joseph Matthews. Further investigation revealed that Matthews had forced entry into the business and taken numerous items of merchandise. Matthews was arrested and booked on charges related to commercial burglary and possession of stolen property.

SAN BRUNO CA POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE #3

November 27, 2018

SUBJECT: Stolen vehicle arrest

CASE NUMBER: 18-03954

DATE OCCURRED: November 27, 2018

TIME OCCURRED: 1:30 A.M.

CONTACT PERSON: Lieutenant Ryan Johansen

On Monday, November 26, 2018, at 6:15 A.M., San Bruno Police Officers responded to the 7-11 convenience store at the corner of Angus Avenue and Huntington Avenue regarding the report of a stolen vehicle. The victim reported that they had left their white Ford F-150 pickup truck running with the keys inside while they went into the 7­11 store. A subject then entered the truck and drove away. The truck owner had also left their 3-year-old Border Collie “Tucks” inside the vehicle. Later in the day the vehicle and dog were located in a San Bruno City parking lot on Sylvan Avenue. A subsequent investigation identified the suspect in this case as 55-year-old John McCormack. On November 27, at 1:30 AM officers located McCormack on San Mateo Avenue in San Bruno. He was arrested and booked into San Mateo County Jail for vehicle theft. Tucks was safely reunited with his owner.
