Foundation to Honor 2019 Crestmoor Scholars
The Foundation's Board of Directors will hold its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. The evening will begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m. in honor of the 2019 recipients of the Crestmoor Neighborhood Memorial Scholarship, followed by the Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m. Both events will be held at the San Bruno Senior Center, 1555 Crystal Springs Road. The agenda is posted at the end of this email blast, and members of the public are welcome to attend. Please join us in celebrating the 2019 Crestmoor Scholars!
The meeting will begin with a formal presentation to the Crestmoor Scholars. The meeting will also include a report from San Bruno Park School District Superintendent Stella Kemp on the SBPSD Schools Transformation Strategic Grant, consideration of a First Responder Effectiveness Strategic Grant for a mobile command vehicle, updates on the Foundation's other programs, consideration of a recommendation of the Ad Hoc Committee on Board Development related to appointments to the Foundation Board, and a report from the Investment Committee. The Board will also consider the fiscal year 2019-2020 budget.
The complete Board meeting packet, including the agenda for the meeting, is available for download atwww.sbcf.org/meetings. A hard copy of the complete packet will be available for public review with the City Clerk at San Bruno City Hall and at the San Bruno Public Library.
The Board very much encourages, appreciates, and values your attendance and participation at our Board meetings. As is our practice, we will send out a summary of the meeting's highlights in our June e-newsletter, which will also be posted on our website at www.sbcf.org/newsletters.

With a $30,000 strategic grant, the Foundation is again sponsoring the City of San Bruno'sCommunity Day. This year’s celebration will be held the afternoon of Sunday, June 2, 2019, in San Bruno City Park in conjunction with the San Bruno Lions Club's annual Posy Parade.
