The money will be used to help kids who raised livestock and were unable to sell at auction during the county fair.
SAN BRUNO, CA—The San Bruno Lions recently presented the San Bruno 4H with a check for $2,500 to help the kids who raised livestock and were unable to sell at auction during the county fair.
The Lions have a long history with the 4H, going back to the building of the clubhouse in the 1970's. According to members, they raise prize winning livestock, grow delicious vegetables, produce and perform dramatic productions, bake cakes and cookies. They help in the community in different areas as well as assist the Lions with various events.
Mayor Rico E. Medina was on hand to share this event as well as 4H members, parents, critters and Lion members along with Lion President Marco Durazo.
