San Bruno Mother's Day Weather: She's Going To Love It!

SAN BRUNO, CA — This Mother's Day Weekend is shaping up to be a great one on the Peninsula. Forecasters say there will be some strong winds in the nearby communities of the North Bay Mountains, East Bay Hills and Santa Cruz Mountains — but so far the Peninsula is spared from any high wind watches that have been issued.

The National Weather Service says the Bay Area will see "continued seasonably mild conditions Saturday but then cooling into Sunday as a southerly surge impacts the region."

Sunny skies and a high of 64 are expected on Mom's Day in San Bruno, which means it will be a great day to be outside — even if it means you might need a light sweater.

Cloudy early, then gradual clearing, with a high near 63. Breezy, with a west wind 18 to 26 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph.

Mostly clear, with a low around 52. Breezy, with a west wind 21 to 26 mph decreasing to 13 to 18 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 37 mph.

Friday
Sunny, with a high near 68. West wind 13 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Clear, with a low around 55. West wind 16 to 20 mph becoming north in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

Saturday
Sunny, with a high near 69. North wind 11 to 15 mph becoming west southwest in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph.
