San Bruno Police Log, Feb. 3-6: Concerns About Prostitution and Man Lashing Whip in Middle of Street

Feb. 3
1:42pm. Two boys were caught doing graffiti on a building on the 300 block of El Camino Real.

10:12am. Police received a report of an embezzled silver Honda Insight on the 700 block of San Bruno Avenue East. The caller said the car was supposed to be returned in January.
12:50pm. Police received a report of graffiti being seen at the San Bruno BART station.

4:29pm. Police received a report of between $1,000 and $2,000 in merchandise being stolen from a store on the 1100 block of El Camino Real.
4:35pm. Police received a report of a suspicious man being in the middle of the street on the 1000 block of San Mateo Avenue, and wearing a hat, jeans and no shirt and lashing a whip.
6:29pm. Police received a call about possible prositituion occurring on the 800 block of Huntington Avenue. The caller said men and women were frequently seen there during late-night hours.
6:54pm. Police recovered a stolen vehicle on the 2200 block of Shelter Creek Lane.
Feb. 5
3:33pm. Police received a report of about $795 worth of merchandise being stolen from a store on the 1100 block of El Camino Real.
Feb. 6
11:30am. A priest at reported that cymbals were stolen from the church.
